Imagine you are designing a new walker for rehabilitation patients and the elderly, but you have never used one. Certainly not, if you haven’t extensively observed and spoken with real customers. There is a reason that design thinking is often referred to as human-centered design. A 12-month program focused on applying the tools of modern data science, optimization and machine learning to solve real-world business problems. Although we talk about the process in terms of sequential steps, it’s a highly iterative loop. With each phase, you’ll make new discoveries that may require you to revisit the previous stages.
